If LinkedIn wants more people to update their experiences on the platform, it needs to offer additional value in return for doing so.
I’m thinking a solution is a resume builder for LinkedIn. Currently, LinkedIn spits out a flat version of your entire LinkedIn profile and it is not customizable.
At my school, our resumes are always one page and one format – highlighting only relevant information about our history, tailored specifically to the opportunity. This allows recruiters to efficiently assess qualification and fit.
This solution is a way for users to choose what information goes into the final copy, streamline resume format, and make updating your resume more efficient.
I made a mock-up of what the resume builder could look like – based on LinkedIn’s current design. I created screen grabs in Photoshop and have linked them together as a prototype in InVision.
this is just a fun project i did over the summer!
